How electronic billboards are bringing romance back to train journeys
Old movies lead you to believe trains serve three purposes
Waiting and going from A to B is the reality of most train travel, thankfully there’s little murder, and there’s some romance, as demonstrated by the popularity of missed connections that happen on trains. More is being done though – a recent introduction of missed connections posts on electronic billboards is adding romance to the London Underground.
Missed connection ads from the London Paper’s lovestruck column are being shown on digital billboards in 11 Central London Tube Stations. Its unclear if these ads are ongoing or were just for the lead up to Valentine’s Day. If you see any, comment below.
